Reading Between the Wines

This event will be held Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Saugahatchee Country Club at 6 p.m.  We will have live music by local artist and former Auburn Knights musician John Norton, a buffet dinner, book sales, talk and book signing by Patti.

New York Times bestselling author Patti Callahan Henry has published eleven novels: Losing the Moon, Where the River Runs, When Light Breaks, Between the Tides, The Art of Keeping Secrets, Driftwood Summer, The Perfect Love Song, Coming Up for Air, And Then I Found You, The Stories We Tell, and The Idea of Love.  Patti's newest novel comes out July 11, The House at Water's End.

Reading Between the Wines is a wonderful opportunity to support your local literacy program.  Low literacy levels impact every important social issue.  With a 12.8% illiteracy rate in Lee County, our mission here at the Lee County Literacy Coalition is for our learners to learn to read, write, use mathematics, and get their GED.  This will empower them to lift themselves out of poverty, lower their health care costs, find sustainable employment, and ultimately change their lives.

Please don’t miss your chance to support this great cause by joining us for a fun night with friends! Purchase a ticket for $65! Better yet, give them as gifts for a friend or family members.  This would make a good gift for Valentine's Day.
